When did you move into Spring Harbor? August 2020

Favorite vacation spot: I love to travel and fall in love with most places I visit. Learning about different cultures intrigues me. Impossible to identify one favorite so tried to come up with a “dozen”:

What was your first job: Lifeguard/Swimming Instructor

Your ideal way to spend the weekend: Travel/Explore new areas; Shop; Read; Word puzzles, Support Animal Rescue (Cats/Kittens)

Do you have any pets? Had three when I moved into Spring Harbor: Thomas, Jefferson and Betsy Ross. Thomas died at age 17 last year; Now I have Jefferson and Betsy Ross.

Tell us about your experience as a resident at Spring Harbor. What made this community stand out when you were making the decision to move into a senior living community?

A multiple of things attracted me to Spring Harbor: Close Distance to a major airport; Near Fort Benning; Not having to cook, Having on-site Doctor/Hair Salon/Personal Trainer/Gift Shop; Facilities such as the pool & theater; Multiple activities available to residents. Looking forward to having these things added back after COVID.

What are your favorite things to do at Spring Harbor and around Columbus?

Reconnecting with long-time friends as well as meeting new friends — Spring Harbor is very friendly and welcoming. I love doing jigsaw puzzles, decorating 7th floor, eating at the Bistro and playing Bingo.
